Hello Team. Well when changing out the power steering pump 1971 Mustang base 302 as you know the pulley has to come off to go on the new pump. Wow! what a project. I purchased a puller/installer and for the life of me the pulley would not come off. (As you know to get the bracket off you have to remove the pulley). Has anyone ever had this issue? Soooo I had to cut it off. Anyway I have a after market pump. Will another Pulley fit IE A1 Cardone 20647A pump as it is a direct replacement. Any ideas on a new pulley???Thanks

Well I ordered a new pulley from CJ Pony. Not the right pulley. Even talked to the rep before ordering and on the part page asked the question if it would be a direct fit? Should of adhered to the review that was there. The part was the Scott Drake 5" billet pulley and it just slides over the shaft. Just ordered an original on Ebay same factory markings as the one I took off.
