i'm with hissin on this one. its not like taking out the stupid 25lb weight on the verts. Personally, I dont think the 10lb weight difference is that much. If I really needed to lose 10lbs, i would eat more saladIf Guero knew what Ford engineers call the dogbone, he would have kept it in place and even had small children pose with it.
I personally would never remove it, but that's just me. Just because we don't perceive a resonance (or secondary resonance), doesn't mean it's not there.

It's likely the resonant frequency has to do with the gearing, and if you have swapped out the stock ring & pinion for something shorter, I'd guess the dogbone no longer has any positive effect.I personally would never remove it, but that's just me.
