First off sorry, I dont know what they are called exactly... I have a white 2000 GT and it has those door protectors on to prevent door dings. They were on the car when I bought it. I would like to remove them as I think they look likecrapola but I dont know if they are held on by screws or double sided tape? If it is double sided tape do you guys think I can take them off without damaging the paint? Also what about paint fade? Will you be able to tell that they were on there? The car paint doesnt appear to be faded, but one can never tell. Has anyone ever taken these off before, and if so how?

Paint doesn't fade taht fast and even if it does, its mainly just hte clearcoat. If its in good maintaince, there shouldn't be that much fade at all.
