I have to leave my car parked outside because of on going projects in the garage. My car, garage door and cement siding got egged Friday night. I got the majority off but there is still some lingering that won't scrub off. Anyone have hints from Heloise?

I am an insurance claims adjuster - I have seen MANY egg jobs over the years - I will tell you that it DESTROYS paint - if you look closely where the actual impact is you will likely see a spiderweb type of cracking in the paint where the egg shell broke into it and the albumin from the egg ate into it. After a few weeks you will see the paint start to flake off in that area. I hope you were able to clean it up nearly instantly or you are probably out of luck. I have heard of EZ-off oven cleaner to take off stubborn stuff like yellow line paint - just be careful to leave it on only long enough to work - check it in a small area every minute or so - to see if it worked - immediately wash it off and wax the area.

Mix a solution of water and natural meat tenderizer (Adoph's). Soak some rags in it and place them over the spots for a couple hours. Since egg is mostly protein, the protein enzymes will break it down and leave your paint unscathed.

Sounds like senior pranks starting to happen in your area. That really sucks dude, You may also want to invest in a car cover if you have to keep the car outside.
