I want to take the GT emblem off the back and heard that there isnt a hole behind it and then i was thinking of putting maybe the V8 explorer emblem or something else in the ford spot. How hard is it to remove them i also want to put a different emblem on the side instead of the GT. I have the saleen body kit but dont want to put the saleen emblems since its not a true saleen i want to make it my own.

Pics are at http://home.comcast.net/~khstng50/home.html
I know i need to lower it thats coming soon

From what I've heard it's pretty easy. Use a piece of fishing line to break the seal between the emblem and the car. There is no hole in that back panel, but there is on the front fenders.
Followup with a little goo-gone, then wash, wax and you're all set.

why would you put a v8 explorer sticker on but take the GT badge off. the GT badge says it's a V8. the explorer badge screams " i am a V6 pretending too be a V8" leave the badges alone.

No badges or stock badges. Any thing else is wrong...

I think the GT badges are ugly. I put the explorer V8 emblem on the rear, and nobody thinks my car is a V6.

Hell, i even changed the side GT emblems to V6 running pony emblems. Nowhere on my car does it say "GT" on it now...but guys still coem up to me and say "Nice GT"

To remove any badges (and even vinyl) use a hair drier and heat the badge and then use dental floss or fishing line to slowly "saw" at the adhesive and remove the badge (while still hair drying it). Should come right off.

For vinyl...heating it should be enough, you wouldn't use the dental floss

when i first got my car it had gold badges on it was uglt as hell. even the crome corral around the pony in the grill was gold well i ordered new badges and put the normal badges back on. but i do have too say when the badges were all off it looked nice. if it did'nt have holes i would have left all the badges off.
