i'm going to be replacing the broken drivers side 1/4 window pretty soon on my 91 GT, since the weather is getting better now...
it looks fairly straight forward, but usually nothing ends up that way. just wondering if there is anything tricky to removing the interior pieces, or if you guys have any tips before i get started on it. how much of the interior has to come out? i just want to be prepared...

ok thanks. thats what i thought just takin a quick look at it... just wondering if i had to take the back seat out or anything like that, or if anything is prone to breaking if you're not careful.

i know it turned into a bit more work than i had expected trying to put my new weatherstripping on, removing interior panels and such... just hoping not to get suprised again.

Here are a couple tips since I pulled my 1/4 windows this fall and it's still fresh in my mind:
1. I pulled the backseat (top and bottom) and I'm glad I did. It made dealing with that big ol' piece of plastic a lot easier.
2. If you are just swapping windows, don't bother removing the seat belt. There's enough slack that you can pull it back and get to everything with the seat belt still in place. I broke two T-50 torx bits trying to get my seat belt bolts off. that was after soaking them in penetrant.
3. If I remember right, there are 9 bolts holding the window on. Some are hard to see if you're not looking for them.
4. You'll need butyl sealing tape to put the new one on (hopefully that was an obvious statement).

Good luck.
