The previous owner of my car had some interior parts "chromed" zinc yellow. The dealer had painted over it with really crappy spray paint and it's starting to chip off. I tried polishing it with some high-grit polish but it didn't do anything. I was wondering if it'd be safe to use paint thinner(maybe dilluted)...I was thinking about trying it on a small, unnoticeable location and seeing how it comes out
