What are the pros and cons of removing the spring insulators? I would like my car to sit a bit lower. It has Eibachs on now.

That is why I asked, I hear people say "just take em out" and I thought that would be a bad idea. Iam Just looking for someone who has done this and what problems that person has had.

mine are fine without them.......glad I left them out. With the pro-kit I have a drop of 1-3/4" or more if I knew the stock height correctly

When I put in my 4-cylinder springs, I left the isolators out because the springs are so tall it was hard to get them in with the isolators on. But the car sat so low that the tires rubbed inside the wheel well. Of course, the 4-cylinder springs sit the front of the car real low to begin with. I had to put the isolators back in. But I had no noise from the springs making direct contact with the spring perch. Your car will sit 1/2" or so lower if you remove the isolator.
I have a 01 Cobra with Eibach springs and took the isolators out. They squeeked so bad with them in. Now there is no noise and the ride seems actually better. No harshness or anything. I have squeeks coming from the back when I added the poly urethane ones. I am planning on taking them out tonight to get rid of those squeeks as well. If you drive your car daily, I would say leave them in though. The rain, snow, salt and sand may make them rust quicker in the lower pocket?
