I'm pretty sure the 04 has the four holes on the corners of the HU. You need a removal tool from Walmart or someplace like that. It is two 'U' shaped pieces that fit into the holes. I tried the two pieces of coat hanger like some suggested but I couldn't get that to work.DrK MrK iV said:How can this be done? What special tools do I need to do this. For my 03 cobra all I had to do is remove the shifter boot w/ trim around shifter, remove trim around HU & A/C, then unscrew 2 bolts on bottom of HU. Thats it.DrK MrK iV said:How can this be done?
