Remove the oval plugs on the rear sides of the console to expose the armrest bolts (4). Remove the bolts and the armrest. The rear console tray screws are now exposed. Remove them. Remove the snap in trim and shifter boot and the front console tray screws. Remove the tray. Remove the trim under the steering column to expose the two front console screws and remove them. Open the glove box all the way and remove the two console screws. You might need to remove the radio also. Then the console base should be free to remove. You might have to disconnect the AC controls and also the 4 screws that hold the console to the dash are usually VERY tight if they have never been removed.
