Well im trying to change my oil pump with the motor in the car and came across a problem. I dont have enough clearance for the pan to come out unless I pull the steering rack. I took the two big nuts off the front and the little one right near the left nut. My question is, what else do I have to take off to remove the rack?

Thanks, Gabe

Remove the two long bolts that go through the rubber bushings that mount the rack assembly to the chassis. Then remove the two bolts that hold the steering shaft flex coupling together. Then you can pull the rack assembly down and out of the way.
