Removing this is a pain in the butt!

Well i got the car back today from a clutch install. Wow, i cant wait till the clutch is broken in because its such strong material that it pretty much just slips when trying to move the car. However, when they removed the shifter, i guess the forgot to put the shifter bezel and that console area back together snug because its moving all of the place. Also, there is a funny noise coming from the shifter itself!!! So im asking...how in the world do i remove the shifter bezel...and lower console part, along with the shift boot so i can get to the shifter!! Do i need special tools or what?

To remove the shifter bezel u grip the back center (part closest to the cup holders) with your fingers and pry back and upwards, if it moving around a lot chances are they broke the clips that hold that part together, which i did once trying to remove it that is the only way i know how, and no special tools either, there is a tab that ties the bezel to underneath the center console that is the one you have to pry back and up the others basically clip in and don't need any tools to remove

So do you think it was a crappy install? I mean....at higher rpms the clutch grabs nicely. I will not complain about that...but at low rpm, or even bumper to bumper traffic the cluth just slips and chatters to hell. I mean, even slowly engaging the clutch just makes noise and chatters. I feel like violent shaking and vibration coming from underneath the car. What do you guys think.....i should wait another 700 miles of breaking in....or horrible install?

sounds like they didnt turn the flywheel and just put on a new clutch. take it back. there should be no chattering with a new clutch. If they are telling you this then I guess they are wanting the new clutch to grind downthe uneve spots on the fly wheel which is shady.
