how the hell do you get that 2nd starter bolt off?? i got a ratchet on it through the wheelwell and could turn it a little bit, but it seemed like it was stripping so i stopped untill i could go out and get a 6 point socket, but with a 6 point i doubt there is enough room to even get the head of the socket positioned right....that thing is on tight as hell too, im going to hit it with some pb's and let it soak for a day. How did you guys get that bolt off?

I believe one of those is easier if you access it from the front....I slap on a bunch of extensions, about 2' worth, and get it by snaking in around the K member...lands right on it...
PB will prolly help you out tho...

I've done it the same way RIO5.0 said, except I put a universal joint socket on the end of the extensions, so I can make sure I don't strip the thing.

Oh, ouch man. Maybe it was cross threaded.....

If you need tips on getting the old bolt out, shoot me a PM. I have removed 2 bolts that were broken off inside my block.
