Replace the rings.

How much would it be to replace the rings or the ring that is around the piston that is in the cylinder that is burning oil.? i heard its gonna be like 800$ cuz of labor. So my car runs fine and i'd rather save up for a new engine

That pretty much requires a complete rebuild of the motor..In order to replace pisont rings, youde have to remove the entire motor. 800$ sounds fair.
