Replacing Exhaust Manifold Gaskets Help!

I'm about to attempt to change the driver side exhaust manifold gaskets. But cannot find a thorough walkthrough. Will removing the starter and loosening the bolts to the motor mount give me enough to jack the engine up to reach the bolts? Or is there something else I should do?

It might but the steering shaft might get in the way.

So after many attempts it seems almost impossible to get the bolts to the 3rd runner down without removing mounts and raising motor. Fun stuff.
