Replacing Stereo Antenna

your getting your whole car painted soon right? why not shave the antenna and get one of the ones that goes inside the windshield like this

Just got it and PUT it on...WHAT A POS!!!

It's like having NO antenna. Then I contacted them to complain and they just said that have never had any problems, and I just need to put it higher on the windshield.
