How hard is it to take out the stock alternator (broken) to swap in a new one(another stock one)? Since I'm without a car because I killed the alternator, if it's simple enough, I'll do it myself so I can have my baby back!
disconnect battery
take off serp belt
remove 2 bolts
unplug 2 harnesses
Then reverse for reinstallation.. though you may want to replace the top wiring hookup on the alternator as they can catch on fire if not replaced. That's what the alternator box will say anyways..
