Hello,

02 GT, just put on crappy BBK O/R X-Pipe, everything else on car is bone stock. Should I reset computer, ECU? Not sure of the correct terminology? I had to run the car for 1 day without the MIL Eliminators, so the CHK ENGINE light was on. Disconnected neg. terminal of battery for about 1 hour during MIL E. install. No CHK ENGINE light at this time. Just concerned about running to rich or something. If I should reset something electronic, do I need a tuner of some sort, or is this a procedure I can do without anymore purchases?

Thanks,
Jeremy D.

The code shouldn't come back if you disconnected the battery for 1 hour.

Sounds like you need a Xcal2

You should be good. By disconnecting the battery terminal for 1 hour you reset the ECU already. Just drive it normal so it can relearn it's A/F curves.
