I know with my last car, I needed to disconnect the battery after every mod to reset the computer. Is it needed with my '04 Mustang on a Steeda Pulley install? I already did the install on Thursday and did it without disconnecting the Battery. Probably should have since I usually disconnect it whenever working under the hood.
Maybe that is why I tripped P0316, P0300, P0304 and P0307
I cleared the codes with my Predator twice and they haven't come back but I am just thinking now I need a reset.

I didn't disconnect the battery before or after when I did my U/D's. No SES light, or problems.

I haven't seen any lights since Thursday and I doubt I will, I just wasn't sure if the puter adjusts for them.

There is no need to reset the computer after installing ud pulleys. You are just freeing up some power by minimizing the accessory parasitic losses.

Pulleys

When I installed my Steeda Underdrive Pulleys I didn't reset the computer
and I had no problems at all.I guess every car is different after all.

Are those error codes for misfire? I had 2 codes after i installed my steeda's also, but like you suggested i just pulled the battery cable let it sit and it fixed it no problem. I wish i had a predator...

Yes, they were misfire codes for #4 and 7 cylinder if I remember correctly!

Mike, glad to hear you got everything worked out with your car!

Yup, misfire detected on startup cyl #4 and #7. Interesting that someone else experienced it too.
