Restoring Marchal fog light reflectors?

Okay, I have a Lincoln Mark VII LSC. It has the Marchal 750 fog lights that came on some of the earlier 4 eye Mustangs. My question, is there anybody that knows about these lights? The reflectors have a mirror finish on them and the finish is coming off. Does anybody know of a way to restore the finish on these? Polishing takes the finish off. I don't think paint will work due to the heat. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

I hate referring to other sites, but i know there is a few write ups on foureyedpride.com about this. I believe they either had them chrome coated again or used some chrome paint.

I looked at the tech section, it didn't say what they used on the reflectors. They went over how to paint the exterior and whatnot.
