first thing i want to say is it was an accident. i was spinnin threw 1st, 2nd and it started to fishtail, but before i noticed and could shift to 3rd, it was 7 grand already.

with that said, here's the problem:
- it idles like its under load, doesn't die down, like stuck on high idle
- no positive boost, constant vacuum
- a/f is really rich
- if i rev it, it back fires

there are no exterior leaks of any kind. antifreeze level is good, oil was smoking when i pulled the dipstick last night, checked it today and still the level is good. all the pulleys spin freely. vortech seems loud, like more whine to it. oil pressure was fine the whole time, as was water temp. i haven't done anything yet. what is the problem?? fouled plug maybe? i haven't checked anything out yet other than what i've said already.

Damn man, 7k is wayyy high. did you hit the stock revlimter? Cause that could mean kaboom...

I would start with the plugs, see how they all look and go from there.
