Normally, you're pretty good at sniffing these things out poop... His article however, doesn't speak very highly of the item in question. It's def not a solicitation review.

Had to bring this thread back from the dead.

I just got MY Gibson Exhaust installed on my car and love it.

The sound is very deep and only loud when you get on it. I've heard flowmasters and they sound very similar. Cruising at 60 and 70 feels a hair louder than stock. Overall very satisfied. The construction is top notch, the tips are really nice. I am going to get a video clip and post it when it stops raining here. Should be in a couple of days.

The drone occurs at 60mph at about 1800-1900rpms and it doesn't bother me that much, you would have to raise your voice slightly to talk to your passenger. At 55 and 70 though, it sounds just a hair louder than stock. Very tolerable.

I'm running 3.31 gears BTW.

Those sounds pretty damn nice. Love the deep rumble, plus I've got to find something to keep up sound wise with my friends built chevy nova SS.

Personally I'll trying longtubes and X pipe to improve performance and sound first. Perhaps one day if I do decide to replace the mufflers, those will be high on my list....
