Rhino Ramps

Anyone Ever Use Them With Lowerd Cars ? i see that online there $46 but at walmart i got some for $18.

Reason i got them is because i hate jacking my car up and im affraid of it falling on me even with jackstands

My Car is Lowerd 1.5 Inchs and i noticed my bumper doesnt clear part of it do i need to drive up on a peice of wood then drive it up ?

when u gonna be done w/ all ur suspension mods?? have u already installed most of it?

I don't like driving onto ramps... I think they sell ramps for lowered cars. I coulda swore I read that here at StangNet once.

nope.. springs will be here tomorrow.. then i'll be finish with shocks/struts/lca/springs... i'll install uca whenever I feel like i need them..

hope it doesn't rain though..

i already installed front struts and MM LCA, need the springs to install shocks and put everything back together..

I've got sportsline on and i use the factory jack to lift the car up then i use the floor jack to do the rest, then i put the car on jackstands with the floor jack still there. always wanted to use a ramp, just never did.

I have the rhino ramps. Stock suspension and the mach 1 chin spoiler BARELY makes it over them.

you can buy plastic pieces that you put on top of the ramps to extend them and lessen the incline...I think they go for like 20 bucks at most auto parts stores.

There is a How-to on Mustangworld about how to make your own out of some 2x10's. It took me about a half hour, but i got some great ramps that have no clearence issues and they were free.

I have H&R supersports and a 99/01 Cobra front end. My ramps make contact with the bumper cover only an inch or so before the tires hit the ramp. I would guess it's a tiny bit more now, since my new front tires are slightly smaller in diameter than stock.

I use mine all the time..really cool..got them for $15 a pair at Kragen's..my car is lowered 1 3/4 and I climb with no problems...also u need to feather the gas in order to get ur car right on the flat part, once it's there, it's very stable..just put some wheels chokes at the rear. work under the car with the creeper..u have lot of space..

I have this problem too.
Not really, though the ramps feel like they are on bearings. Some concrete floors the way they are paved are smooth and they just slide on the floor.

I have the ramps too. I'm stock and barely clear them. They will slide if you lose that rubber deal on the bottom. I already lost one and have to have someone hold it til I get all the way up.

I love my Rhino ramps... rarely do I use a jack. But, since I have H&R Supersports I have to put a 2X4 block on either side so I can pull up on them. It's not a hassle and I don't mind.

Like someone said about them sliding. They don't slide when I pull my Mustang up on them but when I try to drive up them with my wife's 4 X 4 SUV, her big tires just push the ramps around. I have to put her truck into 4-wheel drive so I can drive it up the ramps.

Yeah, the time I used them, I almost over drove AND my tires were too wide for the ramp.
They weren't Rhino though, are they wider?

I have the steeda sport springs and the mach 1 chin spoiler and the rhino ramps hit the chin spoiler pretty bad. I ended up going to home depot and created my own ramps that are less steep. Works fine now.
