I have a stupid question Will going to the track ruin my new rims? What I mean is will I get rubber on them from doing burnouts or scratch them? The reason I ask is because I just bought new 18 inch Saleen's and I also have a pair of stock 96 GT rims with brand new Nitto 555r's, I am just wondering whether I should keep these and just use them at the track?

A 17" rim will get you a better time than an 18"

yea i would use the 17" rims for the track and i don't think you could screw up the rim by going to the track and doing burnouts but there is always a chance so you might as well take the precautions and just use the 17" wheels at the track
