Ring and Pinion, on it's way out?

Here is a few snapshots from a 7.5" axle I have, upon inspection i found this. What do ya think? I'm almost certain it's going to self-distruct soon. But i'm just lookin for some other input.

Looks like there may be some loose metal buzzing around in there.

A tab off on the clutches in my rearend broke off and jumped around inside on the highway 1 day and BOOOOOOOM.

yea the scrapes are definetily not a good sign, and the chipped gear well, where there's one chip there's gonna be more and there could be stress cracks too. I definetily wouldn't waste my time or money on a 7.5 rearend. they're not to great.

ya, it's actually in my G/F's '96 Ranger and I was doing a differential fluid change today and noticed it. Bummer. looks like i'll be doing a R&P job soon.
