ring gap questions

besides from learning on stangnet the past few years, i have also learned a great deal from books. One i bought recently b/c im building my motor personally, it a "engine Blue Printing book" at any barnes and nobles. Its like 20 bucks and there is a great section in there about setting ring gaps and how to's. it's a really great book, and having having rebuilt my stocker once also, i can say it' pretty good.

the book also says check the manufacturer's specs, b/c of different alloys used expand at different rates.
