Very sad situation.

I used to follow his career in the mid 90s in WRC. The man drove the **** out of the Impreza and Focus.

I doubt that. You might be surprised how many people are into Rally. And I would have to say he is/was one of the biggest names in the sport of all time. You dont get video games named after you and not be a true star. The guy was a badass, and its a huge loss.

That was a comment about the usual drag racing and car show crowd that hang in this forum.

That's a shame. Another groundbreaker in autosports to lose a life. He definitely made a name for himself in the WRC series. A talented driver who went way too early.
