I hear the Fluidynes don't last either. If it makes you feel any better about how you spent your money.

Fluidyne , mishimoto ... The only one that I had without any leaks or other problems (fitment issues,Etc.) was the stock replacement . I run a cheap one (paid U$98.00) with plastic tank for 4 years now . Perfect !

I would like to go with going with a 2 core aluminum replacement.
But you guys are scaring me. I might just do what Advent says and go back with the stock radiator. If I spend big bucks on an aluminum one and it starts leaking. I would go ham sandwich on somebody. Gotta do some more reserch before I pull the trigger on it.

If I weren't running a stroker that will see a lot of boost, I would run a stock replacement too. My combination is a prone to over heating and I need all the cooling I can get. I have never had any of mine leak. I think if you do go aluminum, don't go cheap. I have several good stock replacements on the shelf. If you do go that route and want to pay the shipping. I'll send you one of mine for free.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

From what I understand, most of the cracking issues have to do with body flex. Subframe connectors take care of most of that. Just steer clear of the Mishimoto and the Fluidyne and you should be ok.

I have subframes and a street cage in mine ( needless to say I have zero body flex ) and my Mitso still sprung a leak lol. But that was with their old style brackets. I'll find out this summer how much of an improvement the new mounting brackets are. I will say the old mounts did make a very tight fit and I can see how body flex would crack them. One good thing about mitso is that they replace them for free if they do end up leaking. But like I said before if this one goes on me I'll go with another brand. I usually dont run parts again once they fail on my car.

So far on my parts axed list is the MSD 6AL and the Abacco Mass air meter (junk)

Mitso is one of the best customer service companies around. I read a Corral article about them and just about all the people had there issues fixed by them for minimal money. They go over and beyond. Rog called them during our FOX build. A friend of mine sent us a Mitso Duel Fan for an SN95. Rog called and asked if there was a way to exchange the SN95 fan which was new for a FOX unit. Amazingly the sent us a FOX fan for under $100 and told us to keep the SN95 unit. I've never used their radiators but there fan kits are nice units.

Thanks Steeda,

Im going to give the 2 or 3 row aluminum radiator a shot. I luv the way they look. I have sub frame connectors ready to go on when I change out the rear control arms so I should be able to avoid body flex & cracking the radiator. My stock radiator is running just fine for now while I work my way thru the rest of my issues namely the body damage. Almost ready for the body shop and I cant wait.

Picked up a Fox IAC and polished it. New TPS, Wires and coil cover. Just have little things left to finish up on the engine now. I still don't know if I like the upper intake. I almost milled the letters off last night. Not sure if I want to leave it black or polish it?

Super awesome build thread man. I don't get over to the SN95 side much, but I should more. You guys know a thing or two over here! As someone who is anal about details, I'm very impressed about your attention to all the little nuances of the build. Gonna be one hell of a car.

Are those American Racing wheels on your fox? I like 'em.

Is it just me, or does the upper plenum on the RPM 2 look eerily similar in design to the Systemax 2.

well everyone is going to have some of the same parts some with issues and some with out. Lots of people like the Abacco Mass air meters, I hated mine it died in less then a year. But as far as the radiators if I had to choose one that was almost half the cost with free replacements and they were both prone to leaking Id go with the cheaper one. I do know if my Misto goes again I'll find another brand.

I really tried not to polish everything on this one, but it seems like I'm heading in that direction.

Thanks man! To me, its all in the details. The wheels are 18' Saleen Heritage wheels off a 2006-2007.

I agree with Vibrant

When you first powdercoated the intake I thought it was super cool. Especially with the car being black. But now with the way the rest of that engine is blinging. Polish polish polish!!!!!!!

Nooooooo Keep it black to break it up. With everything under the hood polished it just looks like tinfoil reflecting back to you in the bright light.
