i installed msd cap, rotor, accel plugs and wires and msd 6al box. it's a 92 gt and sometimes when i'm in neutral or park my rpm's will start to climb up to about 1500 and sometimes close to 2000. i also cleanded my maf with maf cleaner and i put in a new throttle position sensor...

any ideas of what could be causing this to happen??

It could be any number of things. Check out jrichker's Surging Idle Checklist for a step-by-step list of fixes for idle issues.

Go out and start your car and pull off a small vac line and see what happens.
