Rocker arm hex locker

well, i am trying to adjust all my arms and realize that i am missing on of those hex head lockers you spin in last. Would it be safe just to go ahead and put a lot of thread locker in the main bolt thing and give it an extra turn or so?

whats more expensive, 2000 dollars in the upper end or 50 cents for a set screw? I know its tempting to get it all together man im in your boat, I am doing a headswap too but keep your attention to detail or it'll bite you on the ass down the line.

You need the set screw.....don't cheap out.

well, i went to ace Hardware and they didnt have it. I called up the local speedshop (1/2 hour away) and they told me they might have one laying around and to bring one in a match it up. Well, i got there and they found one for me. the Heads, rockers, intake is on. Pretty much just left w/ a few misc things in the engine and the fuel pump
