Rocker arm installation

That is a lot. That's for lifter preload. When you bolt the rocker down grab it and push down on the pushrod side, the plunger in the lifter will leak down. Then measure your clearance. I had to get a shim kit for mine as mine were putting the plunger almost all the way down and I had only about .050-.060 clearance. I torqued them to 20 ft-lbs. Haynes calls for 18-24 I believe.
