Well I retightened my rocker arms yesterday and I went on a mustang cruise last nite and drove for about 3 hours and it wasnt an easy drive for the car. Then on the way home I raped an evo 8 nasty style and the car broke. I took off the valve covers again and I messed up a rocker arm. Its still usable but I cant really be hard on the car or it makes a weird noise. So what kind should I get to replace them. And its a cobra w an e cam and exhaust and nitrous soon.

And i did rotate the engine to tighten down rocker arms.

I think on the cobra you would call it a stud mount. I just know you lay the rocker arm on one at a time and a torx head bolt goes through the center and holds it down.

If they're stock heads, you have pedestal mount rockers. There's quite a few different manufacturers out there who make pedestal mount rockers, and any of them would be a good choice. If you're still running the stock 1.7 rockers that came on the Cobra and the rest are ok, you can pick up replacements from Summit. They sell by the pair, but it's cheaper than replacing all of your rocker arms. Here's a link so you can compare and see if these are the ones your car currently has installed.

Sounds like pedestal mount. If they are, these are the ONLY ones you should run as they are the only ones that have some form of adjustment. I wish I had known about these when I bought my rockers years ago. They are a lot cheaper than the price listed here. Check with Summitt.

Paul, he mentioned that this was on a Cobra. Wouldn't he have 1.7 RRs from the factory?

comp, harland, crane all make them and they are fine. don't get pro-form tho, they are more likely to break
