ok Sorry for another rocker question but im soo confused... K so I'm getting my new motor built so I put my old not so stock motor back together... I was orginally under the impression that my rocker arms were stock. They have stock arms with that curved spacer, the regualr spacer and a regular nut on top.. Soo the first time I did them I torqued them down .. big mistake thought I bent valve took heads off ect.. K so its back together agian *sigh* the old owner told me he modified the rockers so they were adjustable with some kit or something. He told me I wait for the lifter to be seated down all the way then tighten the nut till the pushrod barely moves then give it a 3/4 turn... So I'm trying this and by the time the pushrod stops moving the nut has already bottomed out.. Keep in mind this motor was running not long ago and I did not change a thing on it soo im under the impression it just should have bolted back the way it was can someone tell me what to do or what im doing wrong?
