Should there be any side to side or up and down play in stock fox rockers after they're fully torqued? They only seem to have play in them when both valves are closed.

Should there be any side to side or up and down play in stock fox rockers after they're fully torqued? They only seem to have play in them when both valves are closed.

That's normal for hydraulic lifters. When the engine sees oil pressure the hydro-rollers will fill with oil and take up the slack in the valvetrain.
