Is it okay to have a little to a medium shake to your engine? My engine kinda shake a little but then a little more. I know I can't expect it to be like a stock engine where its completly still, or can I? I have a 347 Stroker motor, AFR 185 Heads, Compcam XE274HR .565 lift .112 lope, ported RPM intake, and some long tube headers.

if you have doubts, check your motor mounts.

are you talkin about shake when the motor is idling? with a built up motor (read cam) some shake is normal.
when you rev it, if the motor is moving a lot, i would address mounts, even if your 'look' alright. also, some run a strap on the side of the motor to limit the amount it can rock.
good luck.

i dont want to speak out of school, since you guys run different puter and some other things that probably improve drivability (i have a fox). in my experience, most all 5.0's, even bone stock, have a little shake to them. the motor mounts have some room for movement (or else they would be like brutal solid mounts). so at idle, the motor oscillates a little. when you rev it, the torque loads the mounts and it stops shaking.

as long as you are sure your balancer is not outta whack, you should be fine, based on what you have said in this thread. always a good idea to keep an eye on them.

my two cents worth. good luck.

The manners on this cam is pretty good for street. I don't have much of a drivability problem except for my overheating which I think its my bad stock gauge is the problem so its pretty good of a cam for street in my opinion.
