Ok so Ive been upgrading my engine(again) and my tuner/mechanic is telling me that if I decide to go with AFR 185 heads, that the ports are wider than my headers port and will kill the flow. even if i decided to go with RPM heads which match up better, according to him, He still says my current headers which are 1 5/8" need to be 1 3/4". However the only ones i can find that are that size are for 351 Cleveland engines, not windsor.

Does that 1/8" affect that much? any leads on headers?

Per AFR site, the exhaust port isn't 1 5/8".

Exhaust port dimension 1.355 high x 1.360 W
