is it true that one of the 302's real weak spots is the stock main rod bolts???

Should I replace these with stronger ones, or is this a myth? thanks!

I put ARP's in my rods. Never had a bolt fail(yet), but if it apart, it's just cheap insurance in my opinion.

Can't go wrong with spending a bit of cash on some ARP rod bolt's. Infact I say it's a must when building an engine. Not only are the bolt's strong, but they actually strengthen the rod as whole.

Cool, are there any other tips and hints etc. for rebuliding. I dont want to put something in if it is very weak from the factory.
