rods and pistons - where and cost

I picked up my set at www.modularperformance.com My kit utilized the re-use of my stock crank along with a set of Diamond Pistons and Manley H-Beam Rods. This set up is good for around 600rwhp and they’ve got a steel crank option that will take even more power still.

The rods and pistons will come pre balanced within a fraction of a gram to one and other. You will however need to send the crankshaft out (usually with the rest of the rotating assembly) to be rebalanced, as the aftermarket internals are a good bit heavier than the stockers.

Look to spend around $1,100-$1600 on the rods, pistons and bearings (depending on the make) and another $200 or so to have the crank balanced.
