Ok, so I have had some problems geting the bushings for my rear control arms. You can see my previous thread here:

I was in the shower just now and I got an idea (for some reason all my ideas come to me in the shower). Would it be good to convert the control arm bushings on the frame side of the arms to sealed roller bearings ? I understand that it would not work on both sides of the lowers because there is a need for side to side flex. During my search for replacement bushings, I have seen lower control arms that use a bearing with a hyme joint to take care of the side to side flex on the axle side. On the uppers, the side to side flex could be taken care of by the alxe housing side. Am I mistaken in thinking that side to side flex only needs to be taken care of as an issue on 1 side ?
What got me thinking about this was a thread about roller spring perches in classic Mustangs that opentracker posted about. Good mod, if you wana check it out, here is the link to that:
