Roller lifter dilemma?

We've broken down the engine and getting ready to go back up but here's my question; the engine was already rebuilt in 2005 and only has roughly 8K on the rebuild; running a TFS stage 1 cam and would my stock lifters be okay or should I upgrade?

They are likely good, check for pits, loose wheels but really should be good.

To the OP to better answer that, why is the engine apart again, and what use did it get in the 8k miles? Was there any valve train noise?
