If you want to swap in 1.7's, you better put in some new valvesprings. The stock springs suck and will float the valves w/1.7's, hurting power.

See if Crane makes an energizer rocker (roller) in pedestal mount applications.

Not to hijack the thread but what are the risks concerning purchasing a used set of rockers. Is this relatively safe or is it a false economy purchase.

Thanks

I bought a used set over the winter. They are in great shape and I saved about $100.00. Of course I can't use them until I buy some heads that use stud mount.

Just ask questions and make sure the seller is not trying to scam you with a different brand or anything.

i originally ordered the proform rockers and they were pieces of $h/t. the caps that the push rod sits in were all installed crooked and the quality was not up to par. I had to send em back they were soo bad...and i spent the 300 bucks for the comp cams pro magnum RR and they are extremely nice....high quality in every way!! dont know too much bout harland sharp.
