I like to jack one side. Compresses the spring more, and it's less work for me. Then I let the jack down, and let the crossmember rest on a jackstand. Suspension drops and spring it easier to take out, for me. But I don't have a sway bar.HistoricMustang said:Use the center cross-member to jack up the front of the car and get both wheels off the ground to change the springs. It makes the job a lot easier as otherwise (when jacking one side at a time) you are fighting the sway bar.

bnickel said:i have 750 springs on my car and don't even have to look at a spring compressor to get them out, they basically just fall out when you jack the car up and remove the shocks. can't wait 'til i do the shelby drop, springs will be so easy to remove then i'll probably be able to do both sides in 30 minutes or less
