Ron Morris EGR Simulator

Anybody tried it? What were the results? What is the resistance across it? Is it variable? Can it be copied by using a resistor?

Just ordered one, so I'll guess we'll see. It is not variable. It emulates the base voltage to the computer. It stops the check engine light. For Forty bucks, what the hay. Gotta be better than nothing at all.....

I made one for about a buck.
It takes two resistors. You have to create a voltage divider circuit. I can not remember the values...but you can measure the resistance of the three pins on the egr...then duplicate it with resistors....some heat shrink tubing and plug it in.

40 bucks....damn! I gotta get into this racket.

Wow, i've got about .15 cents in mine(large wire nut). Keeps the sensor, just tuck it out of sight. Wire nut holds the plunger down, roughly an 1/8 of an inch...no more check engine light. Been running this way for nearly 2 years.
