Mach 1 Roots style blower on a Mach 1

I was wondering if a roots style blower is possible on a Mach 1 style hood?

The hood would be fine, you'd just have this big hole in it because you'd have to remove the shaker. If you're talking about a roots on a Mach 1, of course someone would have to build one first.

It's already been done! Classic Design Concepts (CDC) took an '03 Mach 1 and pulled out the stock engine and replaced it with an '03 Cobra motor, complete with blower AND shaker!

I believe he is asking about the big roots style blower you typically see in chrome sticking out the hood...not the centrifigal(sp?) which is underhood.

I thought the 03 Cobras is a roots blower? Thats whats on CDC's Mach. I saw it at the 40th.
