So I was planning on going twin turbo until I found a roots style supercharger for a steal. The question i have is, can i run an intercooler with a roots charger? I'm new to power adders so sorry for the noob question. thanks.

What would be a good intercooler to go with?

cool thanks. Unfortunatly i'm going to buy the FRPP roots supercharger. It's definatly not the best one out there but i'm seriously getting the whole kit so cheap i might as well have actually stole it. I'm getting a 6 and 10# pully with it too so i figured why not.

You can not run an intercooler with that supercharger.

They dont even make an install kit for the FRPP blower kit on 99+ cars. Sorry. You can make it work with the kit for the 96-97 cars or whatever but it's gonna be a pain, plus there is no intercooler offered for that blower so you'll never wanna run more than 6-8psi.

Still wouldn't be worth it, his best bet is to get the S/C kit and sell it to someone for a higher price

you can easily run 10-12psi with a meth kit and gain 100+ hp relatively cheap.

i just hope he's not talking about a 03/04 cobra supercharger. Just build your own centri blower, you can intercool that easily.

I think he's looking at a used SVO/FRPP blower like mine. I seen one for sale and it includes the 2 pulleys he mentioned.

I assume you mean this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-0...016QQitemZ260184225577QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

You realize that has 6 days left on it, meaning it will end around $1500-$2000. For that price you can have a much better used s/c setup, or even 1/2 way to a turbo kit.

That's why I asked what brand he was getting. Didn't think it would be the FRPP s/c.

s/c and a intercooler will net more power overall than just a s/c alone.
