Warped front stock rotors are being replaced. They have served for 59k. The origanal brakes still have more then half life left on them which is amazing.


I have a $400 brake budget.

I've had two close calls with the stock brakes and need around 25% more braking power. Im also running 17" wheels.

Just get brembos from Tire Rack in South Bend. They are approx $60 per rotor.

But they won't give any more stopping power??? The cobra upgrade is available for under $400 and will give a big increase in braking power!

i did the cobra brake upgrade with Slotted rotors and SS Braided lines for a little more that $300

03 cobra calipers
brembo rotors that were drilled/slotted by sportbrakes.com
Goodridge stainless lines
Hawk HPS pads...

Does the Cobra & Mach rotors and calipers bolt on or is there a bracket I need?

lol I just noticed that the boat anchor option is running a tight 2nd in the polls!!

ebay has this one for $39.50 but its local sale only...
