Rough idle at start-up and white smoke after AFR 165 install

I recently installed a set of AFR 165 61cc heads along with a anderson b-31 cam. When I go to start up the car it idles really rough and bounces all over the place from 500 to 1100 rpm. If I rev the engine to 1500 for a little while or drive the car and then stop, the idle smooths out and everything is okay. Why would it do that?

Also, when I really get on the gas while driving and rev the engine past 5000 rpm and let off the throttle to shift, it lets a good amount of white/greyish smoke out the back of the car. I know it isn't coolant. I've had a coolant leak before and this smells totally different. My coolant level hasn't moved at all. It doesn't smell like oil either. It only does it when the car is under load, not if i rev it to 5k while it's in neutral. The engine does pull really hard, however, I do have a small exhaust leak at the header collectors. My timing is at 18* (no pinging) and my fp is a 39 psi without the vacuum attached.

sit on it for a while with the smoke see if it keeps doing it after a couple of days. as for the rough idle that could be caused by your cam try pulling some codes. and drill a hole in your TB plate try replacing the Iac or tps.

If you figure it out let me know mine does the same thing but only when it is warm and I start it cold starts are fine.

I'm gonna clean that IAC and readjust the TPS tomorrow. I'll also check for codes too.

Can you explain the smell of the smoke any better? If you just installed your cam and heads the maybe you could be buring off some assembly lube

After I installed my 165's and intake, the car ran crappy and would stall if I came to a stop. After a few days of driving (maybe a week), it stopped. THe computer has to relearn how to act with the new parts. Now it's a ****in beast.
