rough idle, popping sound

i know i have asked this question on here, but before i decide to purchase parts i was going to make sure and see one last time if anyone has any ideas. I have what my mechanic considers a ROUGH IDLE (it was bad enough he commented on it), (he has a supercharged 5.0 and 2004 mystichrome cobra), Anyways it also makes a popping sound which my mechanic says is a LEAN MISFIRE, so i got some suggestions here and the main consensus was too replace the EGR and the TPS sensor, anyone else have any suggestions to what this might be? THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!

tps and egr won't have ne thing to do with a lean miss fire, make sure your not getting any secondary air ( air comming in after the mass air) after that check your 02

ok thanks, anyone else? i checked the extra air, so i guess i will check REPLACE the 02 sensors

I DONT THINK ITS THE 02 SENSORS cause my mechanic told me that if they arent working properly the computer which actually tell them to RUN RICH, not LEAN, is this true? anyone?!?!?

Mine acted the same way. It turned out that I had a crumbling, leaky vacuum hose under the upper intake. Pull your upper intake off and check all the hoses and connections before you go buy any parts. I bet this is your problem.

thanks a lot, was it also BOGGED down in the lower rpm rangs...idle-to like 1500 ? cause it feels kinda bogged down till a certain rpm

and i should mention that the popping goes away past around 1500 rpms... and up

Popping sound from the exhaust?? I'm having the same problem, what fixed yours?

Check the vaccum lines and that the spark plug boots are all the way on the plug.

Where is the popping sound comming from? If its through the intake its lean most likely due to a bad vacuum leak. Do a code test before pissing away money on parts that won't help the issue at hand.
