All around great fun day, I only got a chance to meet N20Junky, and some fellow II owners. Took 2nd place home though yay!!!!!!!!

Yep. It has the new 1Z VIN number, serial 100048, so it looks like it might be one of the first batch of actual production line 2005 Mustangs (as opposed to a mule -- the earlier ones look exactly the same, but they were produced by hand). They ran off something like 120 of them a few weeks ago, testing the production line at AAI.

I did ask Saleen and he stated they were working on one. But that was all he would say.

Seriously though, I really wish I could have found my way clear to go up there with you guys, I heard that there were several trophy's brought home including a 1st place for Cory and a 2nd place for Jay's coupe.

Congrats guys....maybe next year I'll be able to make it...man I get tired of saying that

I did make time to wash all of my cars in honor of the show however...man it's amazing how good they look w/o the frosting

Sorry dave, didn't get to yours it was just getting too damn hot out and I didn't want to risk it. besides it'll get dirty again when I drop the motor in.

Yes he did..BTW, the tropies this year are awesome. Mustangs NW did a great job on picking them this yr as they are probaby one of the best looking ones I've seen.

Ben, The 05 Saleen is complete, and production is underway even as we speak in Troy Michigan which is on a campus that is very secure so we wont see anything till Steve offically shows it Sept 18th which I'm flying down for. BTW, Steve is back in day to day operations for the '05 and future Saleens, so those that thought he was gone..we'll he's back and in charge.
