Roush hood scoop install

Has anyone installed the roush scoop with just the tape? I just cant bring myself to drill into my hood. If not i will prob. have to sell it or send it back

i ordered one and got it today. i'd be afraid of tape only. i'm gonna put mine on tomorrow.

I'd recommend bolting, or not putting it on. Taped on will not hold, from the lift I see on mine...

I have a scoop on an Escape I installed with tape only. It's been on more than a year with no problem. Also, many of the quarter window scoops, if not all, install with tape only.

True, but louvers don't have the same "air-dam" effect that scoops do (acute angle into the windstream).

Can't speak for any other scoop type, but the Roush lifts at speed. Do as you will...
